No one.
Honestly, when I announced that I was pregnant, I worried that Laura might be upset. She was about 6 or 7 months pregnant when I made the announcement that shocked the family. (I guess everyone thought that I was waiting until next year to have a baby.) I can't even post what the first words out of her mouth were due to censorship. ;) And - when we found out that it was a little girl - there was even more surprise. (Everyone, including me, thought there was a little boy inside!)
It seems that Laura can't plan big events in her life without me trying to outdo them. (not on purpose!!!) When Laura got engaged, I announced several months later that I was pregnant with our first child. Laura gets pregnant and I announce several months later that I am, too.
(I really am sorry Laura - these things just happen!!) ;)
However - I don't think that anyone would change the situation now. After all - these 2 little girls will get to play together, dress alike, and grow up complaining about their mommies to one another. I love that Charlotte will have a cousin to be close in age with. Grady has a cousin that is only 3 months older and Amelia has a cousin that is about 7 months older. Everyone has a playmate. :)
Well, the 2 newest Deemer additions finally met a couple weeks ago. And no time was wasted in dressing them alike either.
Finley Jane meet Charlotte Catherine.
Charlotte Catherine meet Finley Jane.
I think my sister would agree - we are both very blessed with wonderful daughters and I can't wait to watch them grow up together.
Charlotte was only a week old. She would not cooperate and open her eyes for the pictures.
Maybe at Thanksgiving we can have 2 girls with open eyes. Mmmmm.... I wonder what they should wear?? :)
